About the Event
This year, DAPS is proud to honor Dr. Maria De León, a movement disorder neurologist from Nacogdoches, Texas. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2008, Dr. De León has since devoted her time to Parkinson’s-related initiatives and is widely regarded as a knowledgeable and respected resource in the field. She serves as a consultant and frequent guest lecturer, is a research advocate for the Parkinson’s Foundation, a research volunteer and public policy advocate for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and a member of the Women & PD Initiative. Please RSVP by Wednesday, April 29.
