South Paws Boxing Club was founded by DAPS Medical Advisory Board member, Mike Braitsch, PT, DPT, with a focus on Parkinson's disease, to improve stamina, strength and coordination. Certified through the South Paws Boxing Club, Amanda leads the class in noncontact boxing techniques for people with Parkinson's disease.

Before attending a class, please review the following:· To participate in the class, attendees should bring Brave Boxing Gloves (12 or 14 oz) and the neoprene quick wrap. They can be ordered at this link.

A waiver is required for each attendee to complete. Waivers may be completed at this link or at the class location.

There are a limited number of punching bags available. In the event that a punching bag is not available, punching mitts may be substituted, under the guidance of the instructor. For those who require mobility devices, exercises will be modified to ensure the safest experience possible.
